Collins Family Trip
Shared by Stu Collins 22,000 km around Australia
22,000 km on some of the worst roads on the planet — monumental car failures, but the trailer didn't miss a beat.
I just wanted to drop you a note with some pics of our trip. We loved getting your comments on the blog, thanks for being a part of it all.
We covered over 22,000kms on some of the worst roads on the planet. As you know, we had some monumental failures with our Disco but, I’m pleased to say that the trailer didn’t miss a beat, not even a puncture!
The deepest water crossing was about 900mm, just under the tie down rails. I was sure we were going to have to dry our gear for a few days after that but to my amazement, very little got in!
All up, a great trailer, punching well above its weight.
We’re planning a Simpson crossing… are you interested?
