Multi-purpose trailer Pod Trailers
Banish rust forever. Say goodbye to rusty trailers for good.
"A trailer for a hundred and one uses."
The award-winning Pod Trailer is built around a rust-proof poly tub on an Australian-made galvanised chassis. A multi-purpose trailer for camping gear, gardening or a hundred and one other uses. The tub and lid are moulded from the same tough plastic as wheelbarrows and water tanks, so it will not rust, dent or fade.
One tub, one lid, three chassis. Every Pod carries the same rust-proof poly tub and the same lockable Big Lid, and the model you choose decides how rough the track can get underneath it.
A tub that will not rust
The Pod tub and lid are moulded from 6 to 8mm UV-stable polyethylene, the same material as wheelie bins, ute liners and water tanks. It lives outside, carries wet or dirty gear, and skips the rust problem that follows ordinary steel tubs around. Over a cubic metre goes under the lid, and the tub is identical across all three Pods.
The lockable Big Lid
The lockable Big Lid keeps gear dry and secure. No ropes, no tarpaulins flapping at 100 km/h, no load exposed to the weather. Gas struts make it easy to lift, and it quick-releases off the trailer when a job needs the whole tub open. The Big Lid is standard across the range.
Tie-downs and a tent on top
Heavy-duty tie-down anchor points sit on all four sides, so the load is secured without ropes or tarps. The roof-top tent lid upgrade is rated to 80kg travelling and 300kg stationary, with the lid still opening to 25° with a tent fitted.
Suspension matched to the track
Three setups, matched to where the Pod goes. The Pod Trailer runs 6-leaf slipper springs on 14″ steel Sunraysias. All Roada steps up to 7-leaf eye-to-eye off-road springs on a 45mm solid square axle with 15″ all-terrain tyres. Extreme Off-Road runs genuine Cruisemaster independent suspension with 1,250kg coils and shocks.
Start simple, then add as the trips change. Racks, bike carriers, awnings, toolboxes, jerry can holders, water tanks and roof-top-tent setups all bolt on, and a roof-top-tent setup turns any Pod into a quick camper without losing tub access. Every option in the current Pod Trailers catalogue is on this page. Availability varies by model, and your dealer will confirm pricing with your build.
The tub is the same across the range: 1,820 × 1,200 × 650mm internal, moulded from 6 to 8mm UV-stable polyethylene. Braked capacities on the Pod Trailer and All Roada require the electric-brake option; the Extreme comes braked. Tare and ATM vary depending on options fitted.
Every Stockman Pod Trailer is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, a 5-year structural and 2-year general warranty, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The whole Pod is Australian made, not just the chassis. The tub and the lid are moulded here from UV-stable polyethylene, and the galvanised chassis they sit on is built here too. It is the same design behind more than 5,000 Pods over twenty years.
